Kenneth R. Holton

Kenneth Ray Holton age 62 of Cedar Springs, died Friday, July 1, 2022 at his home. He was born December 22, 1959 in Winter Haven, FL the son of Grady and Lucille (Sheppard) Holton. He just recently retired from the City of Grand Rapids where he was the Lead Supervisor for the Community Development Housing Rehabilitation. He was a member of the Grand Rapids Employees Independent Union. He enjoyed his boat, woodworking, his bees and the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings. He especially loved spending time with his family and BBQ’s. Surviving are his wife, Claudia who he married on July 2, 1993; sons, Jay, Shaun and Josh; grandchildren, Kayla, Samantha, Dillon, Isabella and Naomi; brothers, Donald Holton and Raymond Holton; in-laws, Bill, Ruth & Barry, Terry & Robin, Cindy & John; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; several brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will greet friends Wednesday, July 6 from 5:00 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Chuck Smith officiating.
