William C. Wilson

William C. Wilson, aged 78, of Courtland Township, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus. William was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Jane in 2004 and two brothers Larry and Richard Randall. He was a twenty- five year member of the Glen Hill American Legion Post and an avid MSU fan. Surviving are his children, Gerald Wilson of Cedar Springs, Kendra (Daniel) Dague of Newport, MI and Catherine (Gary) Varley of Loveland, OH; four grandchildren, Caitlin, William, Dana and Jeffrey; a sister Ann (John) Jones of Comstock Park; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Douglas DiBell officiating. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions to the Fred & Lena Meijer Heart Center have been suggested.
