William R. Hockstra

William R. Hockstra, 65 of Cedar Springs, peacefully left those he loved for an extended fishing trip on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Bill was born February 7, 1943 in Edmore, MI the son of L.D. and Lila (Rish) Hockstra. He was a machinist at Fisher Body on 36th St. retiring in 2006. Left behind on shore to wait their turn are his wife Nancy (Lewis); 11 children, Louis “Koosh” (Helene) Hall, Barry (Ruth) Hoekstra, Gordon (Sonia) Hockstra, Nick (Stacy) Hockstra, Kristie Zoltowski, Sidney “P-nut” Hall, Billi Jo Hockstra, Caroline & Jeff King, Jacqueline (Terry) Ryan, John Bradshaw, and Dalene Murrell; very special buddy and grandson, Dakotah “Buckshot” Hall; 38 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Donna Fisher. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters, Nancy Gibbons, Joan McHugh, and Alberta Hosford. At his request there will be no services.
