William "Bill" Kerr Jr.

William E. Kerr Jr. age 82 of Cedar Springs died Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Corewell Health Butterworth Campus. He was born October 27, 1942 in Kent City, MI the son of William and Jenny (Lundquist) Kerr Sr. Bill was a master mechanic for Grand Rapids Public Schools Bus Garage for almost 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and the annual fishing trips to Canada. He was a devoted deer hunter and loved going for rides and road trips. He loved his family. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Carol; sons, William (Sherry) Kerr, John (Cherri) Kerr; grandchildren, William G. Kerr Jr. and Paige, Zachery (Kelcey) Kerr, Audriana Boomgaard-Kerr; brother, Joseph Kerr. The family will greet friends Thursday from 5 – 7 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the service will be held Friday 11:00 am. Pastor Jim Tol officiating. Interment Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville.
