Virginia B. Wolfe age 95 of Cedar Springs died Saturday, April 8, 2023. She was born May 14, 1927 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Edson and Sigrid (Hansen) Conroy. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1946 and owned and operated Wolfe Den Beauty Shop for over 20 years. Faith and family were most important to Virginia. She was a devout catholic and Christian woman. She enjoyed traveling, attending all of her grandkids sporting events, reading, quilting, puzzles and was an artist of many talents. She made hats and other knitted items and enjoyed donating them. She loved being a farmer’s wife and was very dedicated to the farm. Surviving are her children, Jackie Carr, Tim (Sue) Wolfe, Peter Wolfe, John (Cindy) Wolfe, Dave Wolfe, Jane Taylor; grandchildren, Roger (Carrie) Carr, Dennis (Angelee) Carr, Mollie (Ron) Spencer, Nick (Krista) Wolfe, Katie (Joe) Trolla, Josh (Molly) Wolfe, Luke (Rachel) Wolfe, Tyler (Kate) Wolfe, Nate (Lynette) Wolfe, Jessica Castellanos, April (Aaron) DeGraaf, Brandon (Ashley) Wolfe, Bayley (Justin) Davis, Brock Wolfe, Bryan Taylor, Sammy Taylor; 36 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ralph in 2014; infant daughter, Mary Lou Wolfe; parents, Edson and Sigrid Conroy; step mother, Mary Conroy; brother and his wife, Roger (Shirley) Conroy; daughter-in-law, Heather Wolfe; granddaughter, Julie Carr. The family will greet friends Thursday, April 13 from 6-8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 10:00 am at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, Cedar Springs with viewing beginning at 9:00 am. Rev. Fr. Lam Le celebrant. Private family interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Grand Rapids. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Faith Hospice.
