Virginia May Robinson

Virginia May Robinson 89 of Cedar Springs, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Metron of Cedar Springs. Mrs. Robinson was born July 15, 1929 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Fred and Ella (VanCleve) Wert. She was a good mom, great cook and a very generous person. Surviving are her children, Rixie (Mary) Robinson, Barbara Garvon, Helen (Terry) McIntyre, Nancy (Steve) Robinson-Merlington, Trevor (Salli) Robinson; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother, David (Marilyn) Wert; sisters, Beulah (Gary) Chase, Darlene Elder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rix in 2004 and 6 brothers and sisters. The family gives a special thanks to Metron for their wonderful care. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-7 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the service will be held Saturday 11:00 am. Private interment Pierson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
