Violet L. Frey

Violet L. Frey, 85 of Ensley Township, Sand Lake, died Monday, October 9, 2006 in Grand Rapids. Mrs. Frey was born October 27, 1920 in Ensley Township, MI the daughter of Hans and Hilda (Larson) Hanson. She was a member of South Ensley United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Loren whom she married on March 20, 1942; 8 children, Norman Frey, Nancy & Richard Morris, Jack & Holly Frey, Janet & Gary Rogers, Joy & John Alex, Kay & Jim Deacey, Karna & Joe Montambo, Paul & Val Frey; 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Maxine Knox, Lorraine Gordon, Shirley & Jack Hanes; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Pauline Kranz. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The funeral service will be held Thursday 11:00 am with viewing starting at 10:00 am at South Ensley United Methodist Church. Pastor Richard Selleck officiating. Interment Crandall Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Ensley United Methodist Church.
