Vickie L. Corey

Vickie L. Corey age 74 of Sand Lake, died Friday, September 20, 2024 at Trinity Health, Rockford. She was born January 19, 1950 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Lawrence and Katherine (Hodgson) Brown Sr. She was a very giving person and enjoyed crafts, traveling, reading and spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Duane (Abbie) Corey, Kathleen (David) Kemstra; grandchildren, Kristin, David, Cheyanne, Carol and Matthew; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Karen Grant; half-sister, Patricia Cannell; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Brown Sr. and Katherine and George Cannell; grandson, Christopher; siblings, Carol Reist, Larry Brown, Dean, Steve, David and Paul Cannell. The family will greet friends Thursday, Sept. 26 from 3 – 5 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. A graveside service will be held Friday 11:00 am at DeepDale Memorial Gardens, 4108 Old Lansing Road, Lansing, MI 48917. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
