Vicki L. Drangin

Vicki Lynn Drangin, age 64, of Cedar Springs, died unexpectedly Friday, June 26, 2026 at Corewell Health Meijer Heart Center. She was born November 13, 1961 in Detroit, the daughter of James and Barbara (Clarke) Lyon. Vicki graduated from Charles Stewart Mott High School (Warren Mott High School) in 1979. She was an avid camper. Enjoying several camping trips throughout the years across the United States with family and trips to the family property in Bristol. She loved to spend time on the boat cruising around the lake and soaking in the sun. Vicki cherished the time she could spend with family. Over the past four years, her favorite title has been Grandma; playing on the ground, reading to them, and sharing her fruit snacks. Vicki possessed a sense of strength and confidence that she has instilled in her family. She was positive, kind, and everyone’s mom and grandma. Vicki will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, David; children, Nick Drangin, Tim (Rachel) Drangin, Heather Drangin; granddaughters, Nora, Lillian; brothers, Bill (Sue) Lyon, Paul Lyon, Rick (Nancy) Lyon; sibling-in-laws, Randy (Carol) Drangin, Bill (Paula) Drangin, Kristi Robinson; several treasured nieces and nephews. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; mother & father-in-law, Carl and Eileen Drangin; sister-in-law, Lori Lyon; and brother-in-law, Rick Robinson.

Her family will greet friends at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2 at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs followed by the celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. Officiating Tony Karns.
