Verna Marie Hallaxs

Verna M. Hallaxs, 69 of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, January 05, 2006 at her home. Mrs. Hallaxs was born August 23, 1936 in Battle Creek, MI the daughter of Alvero and Orpha (Sharon) Chase. Surviving are her husband, Ronald whom she married on July 14, 1954 in Battle Creek; 2 sons, Vincent Hallaxs of Howard City, Brian Hallaxs of Sand Lake; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ruth & Dick Munoz of Battle Creek, Kathy & Jim Bevers of Menasha, WI; 1 brother-in-law, Earl Kibler of Newaygo; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter, Diana Hallaxs, and 1 sister, Geraldine Kibler. A committal service will be held in the Chapel at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, Battle Creek on Monday at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until time of service.
