Verl E. McManus, 91 of Wyoming, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Mr. McManus was born November 10, 1924 in Alba, MI the son of Verl and Eva (Bunker) McManus. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was an engineer for ConRail for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Marion; children, Cindy (Doug) Lang, Brent McManus, Crystal (Mike) McKeage; grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Jason, Jessica, Candie, Brent Jr., Sunny, Justin, Tyler and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Kayley, Kodie, Alexzander, Dakota, Taylor, Jake, Spencer, Cade, Rebecca, Samantha, Saundra, Zack, Helen, Quinn, Mischa and Leela; great great granddaughter, Lacey; brothers, Lyle (Carol) McManus, Vesper (Pat) McManus. He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce; grandson, Robert Smith; brother, Darrell; sister, Vivian Harrison. The family will greet friends Sunday from 2:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm at Wesley Park United Methodist Church, 1150 32nd St., Wyoming. Pastor Dean Prentiss officiating.
