Velda L. Mosher

Velda Leone Mosher, age 88, of Cedar Springs, MI, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, in her home surrounded by loved ones. Velda was born on June 3, 1935, in Lakeview, MI the daughter of Elmer and Evah (Wheeler) Kruger, who preceded her in death. Velda was married to Leroy Mosher, who preceded her in death. She had 4 children, 3 of which preceded her in death, Cheryl Frost (Butch Warren) of Black Hawk, CO, Cherry Verburg (Dennis) of Sand Lake, MI, and Rick Mosher (Leslie) of Ada, MI. Velda is survived by her son Jay Mosher of Cedar Springs, MI; 4 grandsons, Jerry Frost of Glendale, AZ, Michael Mosher of Charlotte, NC, Rhine Mosher of Muskegon, MI, Max Mosher of Ada, MI; 3 granddaughters, Tracey Frost of Blue Springs, MO, Amy Rodriguez of Kansas City, MO, Rebecca Austin, Salt Lake City, ID. Velda has many great grandchildren. All who will miss her deeply. Velda was a loving and caring person, one who would do anything for you if she was able. She loved and adored her family dearly. She enjoyed traveling and loved working with flowers. Velda also loved playing bingo and volunteering her time at a senior care center in Cedar Springs. Velda was a faithful member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Howard City, where her funeral will be held Saturday, September 9, at 11:00 am. Fellowship and luncheon will be held following the service.
