Livestream link for the service here Tyler Lee Rader age 37 of Nashville, TN passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 following a tragic auto accident. Tyler was born October 14, 1985 in Grand Rapids the son of Randal “Randy” and Shari (Ingraham) Rader. Tyler graduated from Forest Hills Northern High School in 2004 where he was an all-conference basketball player. He went on to play college basketball for 3 years in Michigan, Florida, and Indiana and graduated from Davenport University. Eight years ago Tyler moved to Nashville, TN to pursue his dream in music. During that time he had the opportunity to write, record, and perform music under the name of Tyler Tymes. Tyler was an avid sports fan attending numerous sporting events around the country in addition to being a season ticket holder to the Nashville Predators hockey team. Surviving are his parents; brothers, Justin (Danielle) Rader and their daughter Evie, Ryan Rader and fiancee, Megan Latch; grandparents, Nadine Rader, Max Ingraham, Marcia Stanton; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and associates in the Nashville community; and his wonderful dog, Foo. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sidney Rader, Connie Ingraham, Donald Stanton. Our grief is comforted knowing Tyler accepted Jesus as his Savior at a very young age and we look forward to being reunited with him in Heaven one day. Tyler’s favorite Bible verse was I Corinthians 13:13, And now these remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. The family will greet friends Thursday, May 18 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be held Friday 11:00 am at Cascade Christian Church, 2829 Thornapple River Dr. SE, Grand Rapids. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Pastor Jill Forton officiating. Interment Graceland Memorial Park.
