Tyler F. Butler

Tyler F. Butler, 24 of Sand Lake went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 23, 2016 due to injuries from an ATV accident. Tyler was born April 10, 1992 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Timothy and Patricia (Stiller) Butler. He proudly served his country as a Sgt. in the U.S. Marines for four years in Japan, Afghanistan and the Philippines. He enjoyed farming and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a loving husband and father. Surviving are his wife, Mica; daughter, Athena Louise; parents, Tim (Tricia) Butler; parents-in-law, Sergio (Sheila) Canapi; grandparents, Gary (Florence) Butler, Henry (Brenda) Stiller, Charles Bennett; brothers and sisters, Trevin, Trent, Tiffani (Derrick) Andrews, Tabitha; many aunts, uncles, cousins, marine brothers and friends. The family will greet friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Thursday 11:00 am at New Life Baptist Church, 840 Wilson Ave. NW, Walker. Pastors Tadd Butler and Preston Judd officiating.
