Thomas C. Shuart

Thomas C. Shuart, age 50 of Conklin, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009 at St. Mary’s Health Care, Grand Rapids. Tom was born May 23, 1958 in Frankfurt, Germany the son of Master Sergeant Larry and Dorothy (Durfee) Shuart. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1975 – 1978. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Debra J. Shuart; one daughter, Stacey (Clinton) Ebenstein, three sons, David Shuart, Thomas E. Shuart age 16, Michael Shuart age 13; four grandsons, Skyler, Storm, Caleb, and Aiden; parents; brother, Edward Shuart; sister, Debra (Ken) Pegouskie; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Karl Pike officiating. Tom was a kind-hearted man, always willing to help others. He had a great sense of humor and a most charming wit about him. Please save a life and be a donor.
