Thomas J. Rau

Thomas J. Rau, 64 of Rockford, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his home. Tom was born April 13, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Kenneth and Norma (Butler) Rau. He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Creston Rod & Gun Club. Surviving are his wife, Shirley (Staal); children, Kenneth (Chandra Orr) Rau, Elizabeth “Betsey” Lewett; grandchildren, Samuel, Roxy, and Simon; mother, Norma Rau; sister, Karen (Jack) Hickok. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth in 2010. The family will greet friends Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Rev. Fr. Lam Le officiating.
