Thomas C. Dingman

Thomas C. Dingman age 93 of Sand Lake, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his home. Tom was born October 30, 1927 in Flint, MI the son of Charles and Alma (Hoskey) Dingman. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and had retired from the Kent County Road Commission. Tom was a private pilot and enjoyed flying, he loved telling stories and was known as an excellent welder. Surviving are his sons, David (Deborah) Dingman, Dennis (Deborah) Dingman; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 2004. The family will greet friends Tuesday, March 9 from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Darryl Miller officiating. Interment Trufant Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
