Thomas J. Beeney

Thomas J. Beeney, 73 of Newaygo, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus with his family by his side. Tom was born October 10, 1942 in Oakland County, MI the son of Thomas and Genevieve (Asch) Hill. Tom was independent, strong-willed and giving. He had a heart for children and the homeless. He loved dogs and liked to fish, drive nice cars and wear nice suits. Surviving are his children, Theresa (Barney) Robinson, Thomas (Kelly) Beeney Jr., Tony Beeney, Troy Patrick Beeney; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Philip (Joann) Beeney; sisters, Phyllis (Gerald) Acuff, Sharon Sage. A memorial gathering and luncheon will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 12 – 4 pm at the Morley American Legion Post #554, 2560 Northland Dr., Morley. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice or the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
