Theodore Wainright

View Photo Tribute Theodore C. “Ted” Wainright, 70, beloved husband of Joan; devoted father of Catherine “Cathy”, Randy (Karen), Matt (Barb), and Jeff; cherished grandfather of Ted, Randy, Christy and Aaron; stepped into glory, into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 1, 2007. Also surviving are a brother, Jack (Barb); a sister, Louise Totten; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edna Pieper, Ardis Westfall, Doris Starr, Bob (Sandy) Totten, Pat Totten, and Leona Wainright. He was preceded in death by his parents Eveard and Alma Wainright,, sister, Gladys Miller and brother, Dick Wainright. Ted retired from Steelcase from where he has always kept in close contact with his fellow workers. He always enjoyed and treasured life, always putting his family first, while enjoying hunting, fishing, farming, camping and traveling. He loved people and was in turn loved by them, among them his neighbors, who he always cared about, as they did him. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm and Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Friday 11:00 am. Pastors Gordon Pieper and Gary Thompson officiating. Interment Sand Lake Cemetery.
