Tena Krick

View Photo Tribute Tena Krick, 84 of Cedar Springs, died Monday, October 2, 2006 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Mrs. Krick was born January 24, 1922 in Ada, MI the daughter of Gerritt and Ada (Hovinga) Boomers. She was a member of Huggard Bible Church, Sand Lake. Surviving are 4 children, Ronald & Mary Krick, Sr. of Pierson, Beverly & Robert Buffinga of Belmont, Gerald Posthumus of Montana, Harry Posthumus of Allendale; 3 stepchildren, Sharon & Ben Works of Rockford, Penny Weaver of Kentwood, Pamela & Robert Flint of Newaygo; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; 1 sister, Jessie & Hank Walma of Caledonia; 1 sister-in-law, Pearl Cunningham of Ada; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle in 2000, 1 stepdaughter, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Thursday 1:00 pm. Pastor Jonathan Williams officiating. Interment Blythfield Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Huggard Bible Church.
