Steven O. Anderson

Steven O. Anderson age 66 of Grand Rapids died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. He was born July 5, 1953 in Muskegon, MI the son of Oscar and Shirley (McClurg) Anderson. Steven was in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Emmons Market and Great Day Stores. He is survived by his wife Rachael (Shelley) Anderson; son, Paul (Cherie Stoken) Anderson; daughter, Sarah (Jeff) Tyler; sister, Connie Anderson; brothers, Jeff (Tracie) Anderson, Marty (Heather) Anderson, David (Lenee') Anderson; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will greet friends Monday, August 19, 2019 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Sunshine Community Church 3019 Coit Ave. NE Grand Rapids, MI. Interment Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Cemetery. Chaplain Bruce Kalish officiating. Memorial contributions to the Friends of the Michigan Veterans Home.
