Simon K. Russo

Simon Kristopher Russo age 16 of Cedar Springs, died Saturday, September 28, 2024. He was born February 28, 2008 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Kristopher and Laurie (Wood) Russo. He was a Junior at Cedar Springs High School and enjoyed computers, learning and was amazingly smart. He gave 150% to everything he did, was always willing to help and loved his family. His friends describe him as kind, genius, funny and quick with a smile. Surviving are his parents, Kristopher and Laurie; siblings, Nolan and Lydia; grandparents, Denise (Terry) Poplawski, Sally Russo, Leslee Frank; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Steven Russo and Michael Wood Sr. The family will greet friends Thursday, October 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Friday 11:00 am at New Hope Community Church, 6175 Northland Dr, Rockford. Pastor Josh Mateer officiating. Interment East Nelson Cemetery.
