Shirley Ann Tindall

Shirley Ann Tindall, 87 of Gowen, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Campus, Greenville. Mrs. Tindall was born January 11, 1925 in Carson City, MI the daughter of Floyd and Rose (Jansen) Blanton. She retired from Grand Rapids Public Schools as a school bus driver for Lincoln School. Surviving are two sons, Randy (Lynn) Tindall of Holland, Rich (Barb) Tindall of Lowell; 4 grandchildren, Kurt (Jill) Tindall, Sarah (Jim) Rienks, Dana (Clint) Dickinson, Richie (Ashley) Tindall; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Howard (Violet) Blanton, Donald Blanton, Terry (Barb) Blanton; nieces and nephews; best friend, Oma Werner; and many other dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin in 2010; son, David in 2009; brother, Douglas Blanton; sister, Orvina Slaughter. The family will greet friends Monday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Interment East Nelson Cemetery.
