Shirley Ann Penland

Shirley A. Penland age 73 of Cedar Springs died Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her home. Shirley was born June 23, 1947 in Tecumseh, MI the daughter of Robert and Bertha (Briem) Tase. At 17 she started working at General Motors and retired at 47. She then loved taking care of her grandchildren and traveling. Bob and Shirley loved going to the Soaring Eagle Casino. She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Dan) Foster, Eric (Heather) Shadley, Shawn (Emily) Shadley, Kelly (Brian) Hoffman; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Betty Benedict. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert on October 19, 2020. Visitation for Robert and Shirley will be Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 2-5:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
