View Photo Tribute Sherry M. Wright, 51 of Cedar Springs, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at her home. Sherry was born November 2, 1955 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Jerome Jr. and Helen (Whittaker) Phelps. She had worked at Gibsons, Bryne Electric and was presently employed as an auditor at the Meijer Warehouse in Walker. Sherry loved her job, co-workers, family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, camping at the river, and the beach. She was very precise and organized. Surviving are her husband, Kevin Wright; 1 son, Jeff Wright; 1 sister, Marilyn & Mike Horton; 2 sisters-in-law, Deb & Ed Twork, Janet Segard; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jr. & Helen Phelps; grandparents, Jerome B. & Margaret Phelps; 2 sisters, baby girl Phelps and Kathy Jo Phelps; 1 brother, Clarence Jerome Phelps. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitterspike.com. The funeral service will be held Friday 2:00 pm at the United Methodist Church, Cedar Springs. Rev. Brian Rafferty officiating. Interment Courtland Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church.
