Sheila Ann(Saboo) Villarreal age 63 of Cedar Springs as of Thursday January 4, 2024 is Walking On. She spent her last weeks at home surrounded by the family and friends whom she loved the most. Sheila was born on May 16, 1960 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Clifford Sr and Margaret(Neyome) Saboo. Sheila was the fourth in line of six children born to them. She was given the nickname “peanut” due to her small stature. The quote “Though She Be But Small, She Is Fierce” fit Sheila’s personality perfectly. She was a fiesty, strong willed woman. She expressed herself, sometimes through tears, honestly and unapologetically. She loved with the same fierceness. Unconditionally giving those she loved her time, work, loyalty, compassion and attention, whenever they were in need. Sheila’s pride and joy were her two children and three granddaughters. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time being a Grandma to her three girls. She was very much looking forward to meeting her fourth grandchild, due this summer. Sheila had a special love for her dogs. Over the years she and John usually had two dogs at a time. She didn’t want one to be lonely, so made sure they had a partner. Sheila married the love of her life, John Villarreal, on March 5th 1994. They laughed, danced, loved, raised a family, supported and remained each others best friend for the last 29 years. Surviving are her husband John; children, Brandon and Ann Foley, Maggie and Trever Ash; granddaughters, Grace and Elizabeth Foley, Ellyana Ash and #4 on the way; siblings, Terri Kay and Wes Cummings, Sam and Sarah Saboo, Marie Saboo and Carl Rogers, Annie and Bill Rogers, Scott and Kim Saboo; special cousin Louanna Bruner; many nieces and nephews, who she individually each had a special relationship with; and her extended family of brothers and sisters-in-law and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday January 15 from 1:00-4:00 at the Cedar Springs American Legion, lunch will be served at 1:30.
