Shannon Marie Metzger

Shannon Marie Metzger age 56, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024 in East Grand Rapids surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 15, 1968 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Chuck and Rose (Metzger) Newton.

Shannon graduated from Kent Occupational High School in 1986. She worked for Wynalda Litho in Rockford for nine years and then Hope Network for twelve. Shannon loved to watch sports, but especially University of Michigan and NASCAR. She has a passion for doing crafts, word searches, puzzles, and cross stitching. Most of all, Shannon cherished the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Amy Metzger, Dustin (Emily) Metzger, Eric Metzger; parents, Chuck and Rose; siblings, Tim (Kim) Newton, Troy (Terrie) Newton, Deb (Mike) Reeder; grandchildren, Sydney, Esther, and Charlie.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 11th at K.E. Pike Funeral Home in Cedar Springs with visitation an hour prior. Memorial contribution may go to Shannon's GoFundMe to help pay for funeral expenses.
