Scott James Paul

Scott James Paul age 50 of Howard City, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Spectrum Health Big Rapids. He finished well. Scotty was born November 27, 1972 in Wayne County, MI the son of James and Colleen (Brennan) Paul. He graduated from Northern Michigan University with an engineering degree and had worked for Lacroix Electronics in Grand Rapids for the past 15 years, where he really enjoyed his job and co-workers. He enjoyed hiking, camping, sci-fi, Star Trek, and spending time with his family. His motto was, eat dessert first, life is short. He was a great husband to his wife, Brenda, who he married on August 15, 1998. Surviving in addition to his wife are a step daughter, Lauren (Joshua) Vetrano; mother, Colleen Paul; brother, Steven Paul; aunt, Ellen Brennan; uncle, Dale Brennan; several cousins. The family will greet friends Wednesday, December 21 from 6-8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Thursday 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, 304 Shaw St., Howard City. Viewing will begin at 10:00 am. Pastor Josh Putnam officiating. Private burial at Pierson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
