Sandra Lee Steinebach

Sandra Lee Steinebach age 76 of Rockford died Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at her home. She was born August 10, 1946 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of James and Jeanette (Heemstra) McKellar. She worked at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans for 27 years retiring in 2002. She loved her grandchildren and retired so she could watch them. She enjoyed sewing, going to the Shipshewana and Trufant flea markets and the casino with her sister. Surviving are her husband, Bruce Steinebach; sons, Robert (Kelly) Rice, Kenneth (Nancy) Rice; stepsons, Lee Steinebach, Curt (Carol) Steinebach; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, James (Ruth) McKellar, Linda Berry. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tammy Rice; brother, Robert McKellar. The family will greet friends Friday from 6-8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the service will be Saturday 2:00 pm. Visitation Saturday will begin at 1:00 pm. Private family interment at Fairplains Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
