Sandra J. Scholten

Sandra J. “Sandi” Scholten 74 of Howard City heard the voice of her Lord and Savior as he welcomed her into His presence and said “Well done my good and faithful servant” on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. Sandi was born October 13, 1942 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Irving and Joan (Spoelstra) Korten. Sandi was an LPN working at both Blodgett and Butterworth Hospitals. Surviving are her husband, Jack, whom she married on August 23, 1963; children, Mari (Jeff) George, Todd (Tammy) Scholten, Chip (Wendi) Scholten; grandchildren, Leah, Megan, and Grant George, Zachary, Holly and Noelle Scholten, Harlee and Jaxton Scholten; sister, Sharon (Larry) Bergsma. The family will greet friends Friday, April 21 from 6-8 pm and Saturday, April 22 from 3-4 pm at Bella Vista Church, 5100 Belding Road, Rockford where a celebration of life service will be held Saturday at 4 pm. Pastors Larry Slings and Bill Bennett officiating.
