Sandra "Sandy" L. Mitchell

Sandra Lee Mitchell age 85 passed away, Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at New Haven Assisted Living of Cedar Springs. She was born March 8, 1940 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Jacob and Dena (Geukes) Rienks. Sandy enjoyed attending church at Baptist Bible Church in Sparta. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing word searches, knitting and crocheting. Sandy liked to gamble at the casino with family and people watch. She also resided in Florida for many years. Sandy loved spending time with her sisters and cherished time spent with family. She will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Donald (Ellen) Snoderly, Thomas (Samantha) Snoderly; grandchildren, Sonia, Ralph, Melanie (David), Amy (John), Stacey, Michael (Ashley), Chelsea, Cheyenne, Seth (Kayla), Tim, Tina, Courtney; several great-grandchildren; grand pup, Ollie; many nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ralph Snoderly, Charlie Mitchell; sons, Ralph Snoderly Jr., Frank Snoderly; siblings, Helena VanDeWege, Jeanette Princer, Margaret Syrek, Betty Simmons, Bernard Rienks, Erline Barnes, Laverne (Sunny) Rienks, Delores Sadowski, and Sharon Elburn.

The family will greet friends 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025 at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jonathon Fuller, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Sandy’s name to the American Cancer Society.
