Sandra M. Kangas

Sandra M. Kangas age 73 of Cedar Springs, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at her home. She was born February 9, 1950 in Pontiac, MI the daughter of Marvin and Germaine (Carroll) Neilsen. She graduated from MSU with an associate degree and worked as a time study engineer at Kelvinator. She enjoyed playing cards, cribbage and euchre and spending time at the Sr. Center in Howard City. Sandra had a big heart and enjoyed helping and taking care of people. She also volunteered at Assure Women’s Center in Cedar Springs. Surviving are her son, Richard (Nicole) Kangas; grandchildren, Kaelen, Konnor, Tiffany, Brittanie, Michaela; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Marvin Neilsen, Mark (Jenny) Neilsen, Mitchell Neilsen. She was preceded in death by her children, Shannon and Brett; sister, Linda McMillian. The family will greet friends Saturday, September 30 from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at the K.E.
