Ruth Naomi Steele

Ruth Naomi Steele passed on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. She was born in Keeler, MI on May 15, 1919 to Charles and Gertrude (Steinhoff) Bailey, early settlers in the Hartford, MI area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred M. Steele of Lawrence. Survivors include 3 daughters, Helen Sullivan of Holland; Catherine Campos of San Antonio, TX; and Sherie Kosten (Ken) of Gowen; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Upon her request, cremation has taken place and a family memorial service is planned in the spring. Memorials may be made to the Hartford Public Library in Hartford, MI or a charity of choice.
