Roy D. Salo

Roy D. Salo, 68 of Cedar Springs, died Friday, April 28, 2017 at his home. Roy was born September 24, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Henry and Mable (Rumsey) Salo. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and had worked at Lack’s Industries for over 20 years. He was a member of the Howard City Conservation Club and the American Mountain Men. Surviving are his wife, Jane (Miller) whom he married on Oct. 1, 1983; sons, Bill (Deanna) Salo, Raymond Salo; three granddaughters; 1 great grandson; special parents-in-law, Raymond and Barbara Miller; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends Saturday, May 6 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
