Ross Douglas Fisk age 87 of Sand Lake, died May 23, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 24, 1937 in Algoma Township the son of Lyle and Lillian (Helsel) Fisk. Ross was a soft-spoken godly man and devoted Christian, and was not afraid to share his faith. He was a dairy farmer for most of his life and also raised Texas long-horns. He and Kathy enjoyed spending time on their property in Grand Marais. Ross loved to hunt and fish especially with friends and family. He also had a great collection of John Deere tractors! He will be deeply missed by his family. Surviving are his wife of 67 years Kathy; children, Shellie Chilcote, Brent (Kati) Fisk, Jack (Kacie) Fisk, Jill (Dan) Singleton; grandchildren, Stephanie (Derek) Kohler, Chase Chilcote, Josh (Kelli) Singleton, Clint (Chaille) Chilcote, Brandon Fisk, Sarah (Chris) Georgiades, Natalee (Ryan) Hodges, Laura (Cody) McCarthy, Ashley (Dustin) Hoppe, Noelle (Chris) Fisk, Jake (Elizabeth) Fisk, Cole (Madeline) Chilcote, Melanie (Ray) Bordeaux, Mady McAlvey; 17 great grandchildren; siblings, Dora Polega, Ann Boerma, Douglas (Diane) Fisk; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Nadine and Denise Fisk, son-in-law, Timothy Chilcote, siblings, Mary (Kenneth) French, Norma (Robert) Rhymer, Lyle (Rhea) Fisk, Cecil (Wannetta) Fisk, Rose (Kenneth) Bergman. The family will greet friends 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, May 29 at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, May 30 at Huggard Bible Church, 8860 21 Mile Rd. Sand Lake with visitation at 10:00 am. Pastor Jonathan Clear officiating. Interment Solon Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ross’s name may be made to Huggard Bible Church or to Gentiva Hospice, 625 Kenmoor Ave. #115, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
