Rosalynn R. Wall

Rosalynn R. Wall age 88 of Pierson passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Corewell Health Blodgett Campus. She was born December 15, 1935 the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Madison) Merlington. She had her teaching certificate and taught K-8 at one and two room school houses, White Dove and Maple Hill. She was a member of Rockford Springs Community Church and the Cedar Springs American Legion Auxiliary. Rosalynn enjoyed gardening, snowmobiling and her horses. She loved her grandchildren. Surviving are her two sons, Dennis (Cindy) Wall, Dean (Kristie) Wall; grandchildren, Cory (Amanda) Wall, Zachary (Angie) Wall, Emily (Marshall) Downs, Molly (Matt) Bogardus, Nathaniel (Kalli) Wall, Eric Palmquist, Marc Palmquist; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Patricia Merlington and Elsie Wall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Wall in 2001; granddaughter, Aimee Wall; siblings, Rosanne Morris, Ronnie Merlington, Russell Merlington and Rex Merlington. The family will greet friends Friday, November 8 from 4 – 7 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Saturday, November 9 at 11:00 am at Rockford Springs Community Church, 5815 14 Mile Road, Rockford. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Pastor Kyle Sanford officiating. Interment East Nelson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Rockford Springs Community Church.
