Ronald D. Schippers

Ronald David Schippers age 75 of Cedar Springs died Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Mercy Health-St. Mary’s. Ron was born January 20, 1947 in East Grand Rapids the son of Jack and Harriett (Sessink) Schippers. He worked at General Motors for many years. Ron enjoyed being with his grandkids, watching comedy and action movies, tinkering and fixing things. He loved animals, especially dogs. Surviving are his son, Mark (Melissa) Schippers; grandchildren, Brendon, Emma-Lou, and Lily Schippers; sisters, Beth (Barry) Baldwin, Dianne (Roger) Brenner. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Danny Schippers. The family will greet friends 11:00 am Wednesday, August 17, until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Chuck Smith, officiating.
