Ronald L. Johnson

Ronald Lee Johnson age 79 of Cedar Springs died Friday, March 28, 2025 at Trinity Health-St. Mary’s Hospital with his family. He was born June 15, 1945 in Grand Rapids the son of Leverette and Helen (Erllanson) Johnson. Ron owned and operated RJ’s Trucking for many years, but drove for anyone who needed his services. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. In his early years he played softball and loved to bowl. Ron loved shooting off fireworks for friends and family to enjoy. Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Susan; children, Robert Johnson, Linda (Lyle) Miller; grandchildren, Danielle Johnson, Roger Homrich, Zackery, Tyler, Jesse, Casey Johnson; sister, Diane Reyes. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Johnson, Jr., great grandson, Logan McVicker. The family will greet friends from 1:00 to 4:00 pm Wednesday, April 9, at the Harvard Tavern, 12607 Harvard Ave., Cedar Springs. Arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
