Roger W. Barendreght

Roger W. Barendreght 60 passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at his brother’s home in Leonard, MI. Roger was born February 4, 1949 in Grant Township, MI the son of Vern and Elsie (Sage) Barendreght. He loved ice cream, enjoyed bowling and his favorite singer was Tennessee Ernie Ford. Surviving are 3 sisters, Donna Bordewyk, Vera (John) Paulen, Carolyn Barendreght; 2 brothers, Jerry (Sharon) Barendreght, Curtis (Maxine) Barendreght; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Rodney. The family will receive friends Friday from 7-9 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.The funeral service will be held Saturday 11:00 am at Ensley Baptist Church. Pastor James Ankerberg officiating. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Grant. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ensley Baptist Church.
