Rod Misner

Roderick E. “Rod” Misner, 72 of Sand Lake, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at his home. Rod was born August 23, 1935 in Sand Lake, MI the son of Orville and Lillian (Petersen) Misner. He had worked at Rowe Int’l for 32 years and has owned and operated the Coral Bar since 1984. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and being with his family. Surviving are his wife Mary Ann (Frey); 4 children, Bill & Karen Misner of Howard City, Dennis Misner of Howard City, Ann Marie & Wayne Williams of Cedar Springs, Rod & Tracy Misner of Cedar Springs; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 brother, David & Linda Misner of Sand Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Danny, and his sister, Ann Merlington. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Friday 11:00 am. Pastor Barry Briggs officiating.
