Robert J. Yates

Robert John Yates age 63 of Sparta, died Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at American House, Kentwood. He was born November 7, 1959 in Muskegon, MI the son of Kenneth and Vera (Fairfield) Yates. He enjoyed camping, was an avid sportsman and loved his Harley. He had a great love for his dog, Lilly. He was a wonderful husband, dad and brother. Surviving are his wife, Christine; son, Caleb Yates; siblings, Lauri (James) Cherry, Kimberly (John) Smith, Lawrence Yates, Cheryl (Anthony) Rose, Tom (Katrina) Yates; many nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place and a private family celebration will be held. Arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
