Robert W. Teis, Jr.

Robert W. Teis, Jr. 72 of Cedar Springs went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Bob was born December 11, 1944 in Canton, Ohio the son of Robert and Anna (Pergram) Teis, Sr. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Cedar Springs where he was very active. He was instrumental in starting two Christian schools and being their administrators. Bob was a strong supporter of Cornerstone University basketball. He loved his Lord, church and family. Surviving are his wife Barbara; children Rob (Amanda) Teis, Tammi (Steve) Nowack, Shari (Joel) Wolfgang; 12 grandchildren; brother Gerald (Jill) Teis; sister-in-law Diana (Gerald) Salla. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Johnny. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, Cedar Springs. Pastors Dan Currie and Jim Howard officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
