Mr. Starr was born January 16, 1931 in Nelson Township, MI the son of Kenneth and Mary (Hudson) Starr. Surviving are 6 children, Rodney & Katherine Starr, Raymond & Pam Starr, Sandra & Edward Kulak, Pamela & Tom McNees, Rusty & Brenda Starr, Roy & Rebecca Starr; 11 grandchildren, Sabrina, Randi jo, Eric, Rachel, Stacy, Chad, Cory, Andy, Crystal, Shelbe, Marjorie; 2 brothers, Allen & Nancy Starr, Ron & Sandy Starr; 3 sisters, Leona Wainright & Tom, Lucille (Bill) Paepke, Joanna & Don Shevock; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce in 2004; a son, Randy; a daughter, Roberta; 2 brothers, Herb and Vernon. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitterspike.com where services will be held Tuesday 11:00 am.
