Robert P. Patin, 69 of Sand Lake, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Mr. Patin was born October 4, 1938 in Ensley Township, MI the son of Paul and Genevieve (Korcal) Patin. He served in the U.S. Navy for 2 years and was a member of Mary Queen of Apostles Church and the Knights of Columbus. He looked forward to walking the Mackinac Bridge each year and enjoyed hobby farming. Surviving are his wife, Sandra (Flachs); 1 son and his fiancée, Robert and Sarah; 3 brothers, David Patin, Tom (Lynne) Patin, Michael (Christine) Patin; 1 sister, LuAnn (Jim) Murray; 1 aunt, Agnes Patin; many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Gregory Patin. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 11:00 am at Mary Queen of Apostles, Sand Lake. Rev. Fr. Joseph W. Kenshol celebrant. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gerard’s Training School.
