Robert J. Lareau

Robert J. Lareau, 64, of Cedar Springs, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 with his family at his side. Bob was born July 25, 1950 in Detroit, MI, the son of Michael and June (Shull) Lareau. He graduated from Ottawa Hills High School, served in the U.S Army, and worked at Steelcase for 36 years. He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed. Surviving are his wife, Lucie; children, Aaron (Linda) Lareau, Jennie Lareau, Nathan Lareau; grandchildren, Natalie and Daniel; parents, Michael and Donna Lareau; brothers, James Lareau, Michael (Sue) Lareau, Jr.; sisters, Nancy (Les) Meuret, Mary (Don) Smith. Cremation has taken place. The family will greet friends Monday from 7-9 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where a memorial service will take place at 8:00 pm. Rev. Fr. Lam T. Le officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
