Robert Jan Kolasa

Robert Jan Kolasa, age 77 of Cedar Springs, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. He was born September 23, 1944. Surviving are his children, Todd (LeeAnn) Kolasa, Trevor (Michele) Kolasa; sister, Jill (Dan) Elkins; 4 grandchildren, Josh (Sarah) Kolasa, Brittany (Wayne) Jennings, Brianna (Ben) Wilson, Dylan (Danielle) Kolasa; 7 great grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Barney and Judy Kolasa and a sister, Julie Kolasa-Saunders. Jan was a graduate of Rockford High School. He had a successful career in tool and die/plastics and had many great colleagues. He was a member of the Wolverine Skyhawks RC plane club for many years. He enjoyed fishing and shooting pool. Jan’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Green Acres staff and Hospice. Jan will be missed by many.
