View Photo Tribute Robert L. Hunter, Sr. 59 of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at his home. Bob was born May 16, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Florn and Doris (Petersen) Hunter. He was a police officer and on the volunteer fire department in Cedar Springs and very well known in the community. He was a coast to coast truck driver for Van Eerden Trucking and loved seeing the country. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen; 4 children, Robert Hunter, Jr., Tina (Hunter) Terry, Delbert Hunter, Amanda (Hunter) Pronschinske; 12 grandchildren; 1 sister, Ruth Hunter; 2 brothers, Richard Hunter, Marty Hunter; many nieces and nephews; 1 uncle, Raymond Hunter; 1 aunt, Carrie Zack. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Monday 11:00 am. Pastor Brian Blum officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart or Cancer Associations or Hospice of Michigan.
