Robert L. Baker

Robert Lee Baker age 85 of Cedar Springs died peacefully, Monday, March 3, 2025 at his home. He was born July 30, 1939 in Kingsport, TN the son of Clayborne and Lavada (Barnette) Baker. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing the guitar, tinkering with lawn mowers, watching Tiger’s baseball, garage sales, and spending time with family most of all. He enjoyed 32 years camping at Young’s Lake Campground in Big Rapids. Bob retired from Frigidaire in Greenville, MI in 2001. Surviving are his wife, Patricia, whom he married on September 28, 1962; children, Laura (Jeff) Baker-Kohn, Tony (Pam) Baker, Jeff (Tammy) Baker; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Earful, Sebern, Woodrow, Moneygue, Otis, Curtis, Gladys and Jeanette. The family will greet friends Friday, March 7 from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at the K. E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Interment will be held at a later date at Spencer Mills Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
