Robert H. Anderson

View Photo Tribute Robert H. Anderson, 94 of Cedar Springs, passed away Monday, December 3, 2007 at Metro Health Hospital. Mr. Anderson was born July 20, 1913 in Wisconsin the son of Carl and Sarafine (Shaffer) Anderson. He worked for Georgia-Pacific for 37 years retiring in 1977. Surviving are three children and their spouses, Carl (Esther) Anderson of Cedar Springs, Robert (Marilyn) Anderson of Rockford, Barbara (Jerry) Gross of Cedar Springs; six grandchildren, Michael Anderson of South Carolina, Aaron (Lisa) Anderson of Cedar Springs, Robert L. (Lisa) Anderson, Jr. of Grand Rapids, Tracy (Robert) Bushart of Caledonia, J.J. (Kathy) Gross, and Lisa Crouch of Cedar Springs; great grandchildren, Jacob and Tyler Anderson, Courtney, Allison, Zachery and Megan Bushart, Marcie, Ayden and Lane Crouch, Hannah and Abigail Anderson, Leigh Ann and Zachery McCoy; 1 brother, Donald Anderson of Wyoming; one sister-in-law, Joyce (Gene) Burke of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna “Kay” in 2005, one granddaughter, Marcie Gross; one brother, Carlton Anderson; 2 sisters, Jane Harwood and Ruth Kinney. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jim Howard officiating. Interment Blythefield Memory Gardens, Belmont. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
