Rissie Anne Haack

Rissie A. Haack age 58 of Cedar Springs, died Sunday, February 16, 2020 at her home. Rissie was born September 4, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Elmer and Nancy (Michael) Karns. She had worked at Chi Chi’s, Rosie’s Diner and Sam’s Joint for many years and was the office manager at Rockford Ambulance for 10 years. Her passion was her family, sons and grandchildren. She attended all of her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was very generous, kind and accepting of everyone. Surviving are her husband, Martin; sons, Joseph (Kimberly) Verdi, Spencer Haack; grandchildren, Aiden Verdi, Nathan Brown and Evan Verdi; brother, Roy (Kim) Karns; sister, Kelly Karns. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Samantha Robinson. A private family graveside was held at Courtland Township Cemetery. Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, March 7 from 1-4:00 pm at the Rockford Ambulance Community Room, 8450 Shaner Ave. in Rockford.
